Mount Oak Update — This Week and Beyond

This Sunday will be a very important Sunday at Mount Oak Fellowship of the UMC.  At both our online and drive-in services Pastors Bob Barnes and Keith Butler will be having a conversation about what it means for a church to fulfill God’s scriptural intent that the  Body of Christ be so centered on Christ that it can embrace and include people of all ethnicities.

Moving forward, next week, we hope to begin the process of slowly easing restrictions on public worship.  The plan is that we would offer two outdoor services:  a contemporary service on Saturday evening and a traditional service on Sunday morning.  Online services will also continue.

Our Reopening-Well Task Force will be meeting on Monday to finalize our initial plans after which communications will be sent out.  Please note however:  Small changes in our plans will be made, sometimes from week to week, as we do our best to create a meaningful and safe worship environment.

Please watch your email (to be added to the office email announcement/prayer distribution, email secretary@mtoak.org), this website, and the church Facebook page  for updates.
